Rerman puts an assistance centre at your disposal 24 hours a day for calls to our normal office telephone line and from our lift cab phones.
Direct calls can be made from systems installed after 2000 (as per 95/16/EC regulation); such systems are in fact equipped with a bi-directional communication system to connect the lift to a permanently manned centre.
Such centre also monitors the so-called system "survival," meaning the perfect operation of these systems: in fact, the law EN 81.28, inherent to remote alarms, establishes that such elevators must make a survival call within every 72 hours. In the event in which this does not occur it is our responsibility to warn the customer immediately as there may be problems that jeopardize passengers, and to intervene as soon as possible for an inspection.
All calls made to the assistance centre are recorded.
For the communication between the lift and the assistance centre it is also possible to use GSM systems which guarantee notable savings in that no standing charges are necessary, instead you only pay for consumption, otherwise the connection can be carried out through a traditional landline. |
